MAS is your gateway to your proposal to GSA

2. What is the MAS solicitation?

In order to get a GSA contract, you need to build a proposal…assemble documents that describe your company and your goods and services. The MAS solicitation is your set of instructions and guidelines to create those documents.
MAS stands for Multiple Award Schedule, a collection of actions you need to take and how to take them to create an awardable proposal. The heart of the MAS solicitation is about 330 Special Item Numbers (SINs) that describe specific goods and services. For example, SIN 54151S is professional IT services. SIN 326211 is vehicle tires.
On October 1, 2019, GSA combined nearly two dozen separate, non-medical GSA schedules, each with their own list of SINs, into the large, unified MAS schedule. Doing do solved many issues which plagued companies trying to get GSA contracts but running into the “you picked the wrong GSA schedule” roadblock.
When we help you on your GSA proposal journey, our first action item is ensuring that there is a SIN for your goods or services. The MAS SIN collection is quite wide-ranging, so most goods and services find a home in MAS.
If you have any questions about your goods or services being in MAS, please give us a call at 937-349-6376 and we will look at the MAS SIN list with you.
