about the world of government contracting and marketing. Each week, the
GSAProposal.com team brings you entertaining news and information that

Our
Current Show!
The Fifth Annual Veteran Business Symposium.Every November,
the SBA and Northeast Ohio PTAC office present one of the most important
veteran business shows in the USA in Elyria, Ohio, west of Cleveland.
This year, GSAProposal.com's second year of helping to sponsor this show,
we took our microphones to the show for FedBiz Radio and interviewed five
very key people, professionals with enormous experience in a broad range
of topics, all of which are important to veteran entrepreneurs. Our guests
included Dennis DeMolet of DeMolet Consulting; Jim
Blanco, LTC, USA Retired, of Vision Technologies; Mimi
Lohm of NOVOBA and Vetrepreneur magazine; Scott
Denniston, Director, Office of Small. Business and Center for
Veterans Enterprise at the Veterans Administration; and John Renner,
Business Development Specialist, US Small Business Administration. Have
paper and pen ready and get set to take lots of notes because these people
had lots of great advice and tips for you!
If you have a topic or question you'd like us to address, or even a comment
about the show, please send us an e-mail message addressed to jamey@gsaproposal.com.
If you've done well with GSAAdvantage, we'd like to hear your success
story, as well.
Thanks for listening and we hope to hear from you soon!

one other GSA schedule has a greater following. MOBIS is an important
schedule to the federal government because it brings a wealth of program
and project management, business process improvement and program integration
expertise from the private sector to government agencies that need
this kind of professional assistance. But the MOBIS proposal is one
of the trickiest proposals to create and many MOBIS proposals sent
by companies without professional proposal preparation guidance are
rejected. In this show, Pat and Jamey discuss everything MOBIS, from
what GSA wants from it to the pitfalls and problems in preparing a
proposal in response to MOBIS's solicitation. If your company is interested
in this key schedule, you need to listen to this show! |

| Scott
Denniston, Director of the Office of Small. Business and
Center for Veterans Enterprise, for the U.S. Department of Veterans
Affairs, chatted with Pat and Jamey about what it takes to be successful
when selling to the government. Scott is a very highly regarded and
high profile expert and we appreciated his valuable insights. Scott's
advice is valuable for non-veterans as well as veterans; he teaches
you what to say and what not to say when meeting a federal customer.

| That
70 Show! This program is all about the IT (Group 70) schedule,
GSA's most popular schedule. This show is a must-hear because Pat
and Jamey cover a great deal of information that is important to the
success of any proposal submitted to GSA. The IT schedule solicitation
does not give you all the information you need; this show fills in
those blanks and offers information about such matters as the hidden
requirements in professional IT services, Letters of Supply and many
other topics. If you sell IT goods or services and you don't have
an IT schedule, you need one. But before pursuing an IT schedule,
listen in to our IT special! |
